Dismantling a Turntable

The player I have is a mid range Stanton t.52 direct drive player. It contains a motor mechanism with speed control which relates to the pitch control of the records with two set speed buttons for 33rpm and 45rpm, an on/off switch, two start stop buttons for the motor, a phono cable output with earth and a transformer linked the the double pin power output.
